THE ESSENTIALS

Is it right for your home?

Strengths

  • Vertical movement without projecting outdoors.
  • Two vertically stacked sashes.
  • One or two moving sashes, depending on the model.

Considerations

  • Only part of the glazed area becomes a clear opening.
  • You need to reach the lock and lift the sash.
  • The central horizontal rail remains part of the view.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Before you choose.

What is the difference between single- and double-hung?

On a single-hung window, the lower sash moves and the upper sash is fixed. On a double-hung window, both sashes move. Confirm the model with FenXtra.

Can it be cleaned from indoors?

Vaillancourt presents tilting sashes for cleaning. Ask for a demonstration of the selected model and follow its handling instructions.

Hung or sliding?

A hung sash moves vertically; a sliding sash moves horizontally. Compare your opening’s shape, control positions and the movement you prefer.
